Spreading Warmth (Dec'22): During the winter of 2022, we undertook an initiative to provide spare warm clothing, blankets, and more to those lacking these essentials. A city-wide survey was conducted to comprehend the specific needs of the underprivileged. Following the survey, tailored packages were prepared for each family according to their needs. Through our endeavor, we catered to the requirements of 40 families, extending clothing to 250 individuals, including 43 men, 57 women, 54 boys, and 96 girls.

Period Power (Aug’22): Embarking on a significant menstrual advocacy and sanitary napkin distribution drive, our team passionately engaged with women and young girls in underserved communities, enlightening them on the critical aspect of menstrual hygiene. Understanding the profound importance of this subject within rural communities, we extended our efforts across localities and schools, sharing relevant knowledge and distributing approximately 200 packets of sanitary napkins. By empowering women with information and access to essential sanitary products, we aimed not only to enhance their health but also to foster a culture of informed well-being.

Raktdaan (June '23): Remaining committed to our philosophy of empowering the community towards enhanced healthcare and well-being outcomes, Anjana Foundation organized a Collaborative Blood Donation event with ‘Shri Guru Gorakshnath Blood Bank’ in Gorakhpur. In the inaugural phase of this drive conducted in June 2023, we successfully gathered 14 units of blood from the supportive public. This endeavor also served as a platform to increase public awareness about blood donation guidelines and blood transfusion protocols.
